I’m in my mid twenties, living in southern California.  I work in Corporate America, but I’m not much the corporate type.  I much rather be in Mexico building houses with my church, laying out on the beach with my friends, running the trails behind my house, or going on awkward first dates.

I spent most of my life suffering from disordered eating patterns (restricting, binging, and/or purging) as well as exercising compulsively.  My eating disorder took a turn for the deadly in 2009, and I entered treatment in May of 2010.  I’ve been through a lot in the past year, and started a blog about it all in April of 2010.  After coming out (a heck of a lot stronger) of it a year later, I realized I had a lot more to talk about than pain, sadness, and learning experiences.  I created Run, Write, Repeat in May of 2011 to reflect my passions.

Welcome to my journey of recovery…. with some snark and sarcasm thrown in for good measure.  Hopefully you’ll be able to relate to some items here.

If not, I’m sure you can laugh at my dating escapades.
